New Supra involved in one of the worst accidents I've seen

Watching that short video the driver recording herself, I'd say she did the world a favor by erasing herself from the gene pool. How the hell does someone who talks like that can even afford a brand new Supra - probably drug trade or prostitution?

So sad.
With the availability of a lot of powerful cars through leasing more and more younger people are driving recklessly all the time. Every young kid seems to have a brand new Charger or BMW that immediately gets a gunshot exhaust to torture the people around them.
Where I live and close by neighborhoods there are fresh sets of burnout marks on a daily basis. Speeding is rampant due to less policing so it all adds up.
And it only seems to get worse.

^^^^^Agreed we need far more enforcement.
Remember the song "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh? (Some of you here may be too young to recall).
"My Maserati does One-Eighty-Five"
"I Lost my License, now I can't Drive".

Doesn't social media and selfie culture have a role here? Why do we need to posture online and record ourselves doing things to narrate a story? That's what she was doing. Ultimately she's responsible but now she can't take any responsibility. We who judge should look in the mirror and see ourselves at 24. Only difference is, she got a hold of a ridiculously quick car that she had no training or experience in. Licencing standards, not more enforcement.
That's true. You're a younger driver, track trained and familiar with your E55's capabilities; so it's unfair to associate you with an incident that has nothing to do with you. I'd say that maybe your views on the matter probably have to do with the endless debate about public roads and high performance vehicles. The better debate should be about driver licencing standards and judgement.

Although some kids do drive like morons, I don't necessarily buy the idea that youth has to mean irresponsible driving. At age 24, I drove like I still do today (carefully), some four decades later....except that manual-transmission vehicles are in much less supply nowadays, and I don't make as many long trips. And, at age 16/17, when I first got my license, I still drove more or less like I do today (carefully). So did my best friend in high school. Perhaps he and I were rarities (hard to say)....but speed, alcohol, and the desire to show off always scared the hell out of me, even in high school, although I did sample a few of the American muscle-cars of the time.....in a reasonably safe manner. (I've done retro-write-ups on a couple of them)

You brought the scrutiny on yourself by excusing the actions of the Supra driver by trying to place blame on the Accord driver for "doing something dumb". He made a legal left turn not expecting the oncoming Supra driver to be doing 120MPH on a road with a 35 MPH speed limit.
And you don't know that she was drunk, there are no toxicology reports back.
Anyways, the plot may thicken. Apparently she was NOT the owner of the Supra...
