Default 2022 Kia Stinger

(From Moderator: Motorola - there's a lot of posts on the refresh and they didn't really belong in the thread about Doug DeMuro buying a used Stinger)

Might as well put this here since the last thing we need is another new Stinger thread. 2022 refresh:

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a3...tinger-update/

No word yet on powertrains.

Those tailpipe tips are becoming comical in their size. Trying a bit too hard there.

On that new stinger, glad they're switching to a wide shorter screen vs. the current sized one.

It's the new variable exhaust. End of video.

And the beauty of using a tablet style construction/design to begin with: it's much easier to update the screen and size without having to overhaul the dash, or having to stick band-aid style looks in front of other areas **cough cough Camry, LS**

The shape and placement looks similar to the way BMW does them.

I am in the minority, Stinger never did anything for me, and agree that many of these Youtuber's have their own agenda. I test drive and decide, could careless what some random stranger endorse.

GV80 Looks impressive, couple of caveats of course. My only question would be is a future genesis customer going to face the same ADMs the palisade and telluride cousins face now. If thats the case, I wonder if Genesis is going to address this at the corp level or let dealers have free reign (the paliuride i get, most premium interior product outhere, however its not like the genesis outclasses the market, the germans exist).

Stitched together some pics. It's definitely a more subtle facelift (likely not a huge budget allocated for the Stinger). Taillight image has changed, the exhaust tips and lower bumper area. Widescreen infotainment and possibly some more premium interior touches (quilted pattern leather, etc).
