Ten automotive features from the past I'd like to see returned today.

Frankly, other than on the Highlander, the headlights on both my GS (LED triple beam) and the Tundra (LEDs) are so good I rarely use the high beams anyway. And when I do, I just put them on auto and don't mess with the stalk.

Even the best headlights, they just don't project far enough down the road to not use the high beams in certain situations

I can't honestly tell you the last time I used my high beams. I'm sure it's been at least a year.

I dont use mine around here, but when I'm in WV on those dark country roads, gotta use your high beams.

I use my brights mostly when traveling out on the highway. No use for them in the city.
Here in Vegas we can't get people to use their headlights at all. This city is a rotting den of vapid, vain, idiotic trash in some ways. There's an interchange on my drive home where 2 lanes become one lane on the ramp from one freeway to another. I can't count the number of times I've been on that ramp trying to merge down when some scumbag with his lights off appears in my blind spot and tries to rocket past me.

Perhaps too much of a stereotype on my part (and please correct me if that is the case), but, given the culture and night-life of Las Vegas, I suspect that all that alcohol produces a lot of inebriated drivers behind the wheel. Perhaps the only reason they can see anything at all is because of those extremely brilliant neon lights the city is famous for.
And the neons are only on the Strip. The rest of the city is just like any other suburban southwest city.

I can't find MY2022 statistics, but it was in 37% of 2017 models, and 45% of 2018 models, so it's extremely likely to have crossed over into "most" territory in the succeeding 4 years.

More vehicles are offering automatic high beams. Research shows drivers rarely use their high beams despite the better visibility, and IIHS gives extra credit in its testing for automatic high beams, which activate when the road ahead is empty but switch to low beams when sensors detect oncoming cars or traffic ahead. Of the 2018 models tested, 45 percent offer automatic high beams, up from 37 percent in 2017.

Re-read your block quote:
"Offer" doesn't mean "standard". With most cars, how many are sold with that feature in only the top-of-the line, or other high trim levels? And what's the break down of entry/middle/top trim level sales for any of those cars? Because there's lots of cars that only "offer" certain safety features in the higher-level trims and packages, including in lux cars.

Also part of the base Honda Sensing system, which is standard across nearly the entire lineup. Only in the HR-V do you have to option up to the EX trim.
Also standard on every Subaru except the BRZ, where it is only available with the Automatic.
Also standard on most of the Ford lineup as part of the CoPilot360 safety suite. Optional on the Mustang. EcoSport doesn't explicitly list the feature, but forum posts confirm it has it.
I'm not going to continue through every manufacturer for you, but this feature is pervasive. Just those four above account for about 40% of the market.
