Throwback: Classic Corolla with Modern Lexus V8 Power

Daily Slideshow: This may look like a classic Toyota Corolla on the surface, but underneath, it's all Lexus IS F.

A 1uzfe and w58 would have been much more straightforward

I think like you said, anyone who has purchased from Copart has for the most part made some mistakes along the way. Did you pay too much? Yes? But it doesn't seem like you're that bothered by it and are eager to move on. I applaud your dedication to get this car back on the road and wish you the best of luck.

I was hoping for a video. My dad had one, back in day.

Again being simplistic, Corolla is simply a car people liked back then, the pickups, and I would say Celicas too. That means today, they look retro cool.

Maybe now it was more than 10 years ago, but I saw a senior driving one of those USGP Celicas which I think is '80 or '81, and I thought it was sooooooo cool (honeycomb grille)....
