Hello,

I purchased a 2012 Lexus RX350 with 95k miles from a dealer about 2 months ago. I noticed a week ago while walking towards the car, driver's side about under the back, left passenger area, there is a piece of metal plate or shield hanging lower enough to be noticed. I had my husband looked under the car and he said it's not loose or doesn't move but just not flushed higher up than he'd seen with other cars. I probably bought it that way but wondering if that's a concern.

You should post this in the forum for your RX generation. The way the metal is hanging, it doesn't look normal, but it is hard to assess from your pictures.

 

I could be wrong but it looks like a plastic under panel. Possibly just needs some new screws or tucked back in.
