So the CX60 will have an I6 but is not sold in North America and instead in other countries that will tax the hell out of it for being a 6 cylinder, while the CX50 with no 6 cylinder is only sold in North America?

It's official.. soon. Being revealed in two weeks. And will come with RWD standard. Though it sounds like it's getting a 300hp i4 PHEV at launch, not the i6 yet. I wonder if this is Toyota's powertrain from the Rav4 PHEV and NX450h, or it's their own 2.5 Turbo with a plug in hybrid system.
