Exterior looks very bland imo.
Interior seems nice.

New Nissan Sentra is probably the best design in the segment.

Twitch reveal, dang Honda marketing understands their market well I expect similar social media launches for select models soon to follow from other brands.

The interior if it holds till production (which knowing honda is 99% the same as a prepro), is quite a return to form. I think possibly the person who designed the Honda E may have put some work in this as well. Its retro cool

As expected it looks like a baby Accord. Interior render looks nice. Front sort of looks the same as current, and rear looks more sporty. But the sides look plain and the window kink near the C-Pillar throws me off. I'll have to see it in person. Rumors are starting to swirl that the Type-R variant might have SH-AWD

If that's the case, might be a good potential competitor to the Subaru WRX/STi.....and to any AWD high-performance versions of the Golf that VW may come up with.

What reason would the Acura ILX have to exist then lol

And yes I know that the current ILX doesn't come with SH-AWD, but SH-AWD should be reserved only for Acura.

Again just a rumor. That said, they seem to be nearing a ceiling with FWD Type-R hatch. I wouldn't be surprised

thread title says it should be 'quite the looker' but to me it looks as boring and generic as it could possibly be.

It is a looker compared to what it has been in the recent past!

I think this new one looks better than the 10th Gen baby Accord or not

Probably makes more sense next generation when it'll likely be hybridized and an electric motor can be added to the rear like they do on the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid.

I agree. I love the current gen way more.....much more daring design.
This new one got toned down.

Well, folks, it looks like we are all over the map on whether the redesign was a good one or not. I think we're all going to just end up agreeing to disagree.

BTW, if you all think THIS one is polarizing, think back to the 2012 Civic redesign......it was so cheaply done (all-plastic interior) that it was a PR disaster. Honda was forced into a (rare) emergency-redesign for the very next model year's interior. (2013)

I think Honda learned a hard lesson from that, and we are probably not likely to see that repeated for some time.
