Honda has given a first look at the 2022 Civic sedan, and it's an inviting redesign.
The car, in prototype form, will be revealed during a Twitch live stream on Tuesday, November 17, at 9:45 p.m. ET.
The 2022 Honda Civic will go on sale in spring 2021, starting in the low-$20,000 range.
You'll be inclined to swipe right on the 2022 Honda Civic when you see it because the 11th-generation sedan will be much more attractive than its somewhat awkward-looking predecessor. Honda will unveil a prototype of the next Civic during a live stream on Twitch on November 17 at 9:45 p.m. ET.
We don't know much about the new Civic's powertrains, but Honda has confirmed that the 2022 lineup will include sedan, hatchback, Si, and Type R models, meaning there will be varying power levels from various four-cylinder engines. They'll ride on a newer version of the current Civic's platform, and a manual transmission should be standard (#SavetheManuals).
The 2022 Honda Civic will arrive in the U.S. in the spring, and pricing is expected to start in the low-$20,000 range.
That looks really good through the camo - almost reminds me of old Accord in form with some earlier Acura TSX thrown in for good measure.
Haven't cared much for the Honda designs over the last few years - the 'robot' styling with odd bulges and edges never appealed to me emotionally. This looks different.
Hyundai Elantra went all weirdo with their styling....so Honda tones it down as the previous gen was a bit out there.
I also like the fact that recent Civics have also finally gotten away from that split-level speedometer/tach display, which had one reading in the conventional spot in front of the steering wheel, and the other one higher and far out in front, near the base of the windshield. Some people needed bifocals to read them LOL.
