Yeah, I should have been more clear as I was only shopping the full 4 door cab models.

Off topic, but I see for 2021 they are finally offering the Limited 4 door in long bed form. I didn’t consider the Limited model because they were short bed only in 2020.

As a 34 year-old, they're somewhat out of my price point. That said, it definitely makes a brand appeal to me that had little prior appeal. Cadillac may be on to something here.

Up until a few years ago they made the CTS-V (Corvette Engine) coupes, sedans and wagons and each of them could be had with a Manual. A lot of people were upset they stopped making a true 'V' Vette Cadillac so they listened and are finally bringing it back with a Manual. The CTS-V Wagon with 6-speed Manual was possibly the coolest wagon ever offered in the US, too bad it didn't sell and will never happen again. You can see they now get a premium price on BaT of almost $90K for one with low-mileage

The subject of the manual transmission came up while I was at the dealer this weekend, since they had a GLI with a stick on the lot. But, I decided that if my wife wants to drive the car, it's gotta be the DSG.

Having said that, I can't drive stick either lol. It's on my bucket list.

it takes about 10 minutes to learn especially with today’s smooth transmissions. It’s not like the clunkers of yesteryear. Find a friend with one and give it it a go. It’s not rocket science.

I made this mistake earlier this year, my wife really wanted a MINI Clubman, I really wanted a manual so we compromised and a got a MINI Clubman S AWD 6-speed and she has driven it once around the block when we first got it and that's it, won't drive it now. She really was wanting to learn to drive a manual and was all for getting it at the time, but now has no interest. If it were up to me and I knew she wouldn't drive it then could've got an Automatic but the LX570 is really her car, she loves it and is her daily. Now I'm debating on something fun I really want, a 2015+ Challenger Hellcat 6-speed. After driving the MINI, it is pretty fun, 189 HP Turbo, I really want another manual just something with a little more power.

The MINI

What I really want.

^^^^^ Well, as to your fantasies for a Hemi Challenger, I'll respect your opinion (and, BTW, I liked both that lime green and the Purple Plum-Crazy paint jobs). But a Clubman (Countryman)? is a far more practical vehicle for everyday driving, particularly on slick roads....and my guess is that it will be a LOT cheaper to insure, but that depends on a number of factors.

Did you mean AWD Mini Countryman instead of Clubman? The Clubman, from what I can tell, is not available with AWD. Top-line Countryman models can be pricey, especially for something that size, and run well over 40K.

It actually is a 2017 Clubman AWD (All4) 6-speed, pretty rare, especially finding one that is 'Fully Loaded'. They stopped making the AWD 6-speed Clubman in 2019.

In addition to the LX also have a 2008 AWD Highlander with Blizzaks for the winter so I'm covered when I wouldn't be able to drive the fun car, most likely a Challenger if I do sell the MINI.

I had read a lot about how expensive Insurance can be on a HellCat so I sent a few VIN's to my insurance to check, I did just turn 50 this year too, the rates are surprisingly low, about $20 more a month than the LX.

MINI is one of the few I know of that still uses the term 'Fully Loaded' on a window sticker
I paid $19K in March 2020 from a private party sale and it had 32K miles, was still under warranty, now original warranty has expired.
