Speaking of digging up old posts in this thread. This needs a reminder.

Respectfully Dave, that was from before two separate threads were merged, the post you quoted came from the old thread. The post of mine that Lex responded to was from the newer thread, hence why it's in the thread a year after your boot. And certain other members who were booted from the old thread like F1Driver are posting in this one as well.

Thank you for pointing that out, should have been a PM. I still want you to stop posting in this thread. You've had too much running conflict in multipe threads lately, needs to cease.

You’ve been given ample opportunity to simply correct your poorly worded statement and you continue to defend an overly broad ethnic assertion that’s clearly problematic and offensive to some.
F1driver, you were also asked to stop posting. Exit this thread.

And the malfunctioning brake and tail lights that nearly every 5+ year old model suffers from?

A safety issue on a 13-14 year old car is still a safety issue. People still buy and drive these, should they be left in the dark just because the car is older?

Besides, this is a Hyundai/KIA recall and lawsuit thread. Right on topic, isn't it?

At this point, nothing they have fixed has worked. Just curious how many years it takes for the public to catch on.

Bitkhuna has a point. Some posters here hate Hyundai and Kia so much they are still focusing on problems from the original 80s-vintage Excels.

Bias towards brands has nothing to do with this though. This is a thread about Hyundai and KIA recalls, is it not? If a recent recall from one of those brands is issued, why can't it be posted or referenced in this thread? It's not like the poster is falsifying recall information.

Posting a recall invites discussion, which I would assume is also on-topic for this thread. Even if a poster is known to have a negative bias towards a brand, they are entitled to their opinion and the discussion that might stem from it. It only becomes problematic when people start lying, disrespecting, or outright insulting others (and there have been a few recent examples of that here). Moderators can handle that part if/when it comes to that.
