For the rears or just the front? The 3 sonatas I take care of only warn for front, that or when the housing melts it perhaps doesn't warn?

The LS400 ECU and PS leak
The LS430 door lock actuators
The Odyssey transmission
The Audi 2.7 turbo oil seal
The AMG head bolt failure
The M137 oil plate
The AMC/Jeep 4.0 cooling fan relay/head issue
The Ford 3.5 internal water pump
Etc......these cars/engines are otherwise unusually reliable and tolerant of extreme abuse but they and everything else always have a weak point. Some minor if you know of the issue others major game enders even if you know about it. Aka they suck.

Okay you clearly have never worked in cars since that's a extremely well known colloquialism assessing the fact that every car, no matter how good it may be always has something imperfect in the design.

Now your 2nd problem is that you clearly don't know I have worked at a Lexus Dealer in the past. I also have built engines from the Crank up. Cars and Bikes. Have a nice day on this one.

Yes, all vehicle have problems. The question is...in relation to what. In relation to other vehicles, reliability ratings tell us a lot, and so do recalls. Hyundai and Kia seem to be having more recalls than others, but it is likely because their business model is to innovate quickly rather than slowly like Toyota/Lexus. Some will prefer one business model over the other, but most buyers aren't car geeks like ourselves, and are often buying based on a wide variety of other criteria.

Hopefully they won't touch the 67 million Record number for Automobile Seat Safety issues.

I wonder who made the seatbelts?

So....I rest my case.
Vehicles made by 19 different automakers (34 brands) have been recalled to replace frontal airbags on the driver’s side or passenger’s side, or both in what NHTSA has called “the largest and most complex safety recall in U.S. history.” The airbags, made by major parts supplier Takata, were installed in cars mostly from model years 2002 through 2015. Some of those airbags could deploy explosively, injuring and even killing car occupants.
A total of 67 million airbags have been recalled, and at the end of 2022, 11 million were still yet to be replaced.
At the heart of the problem is the airbag’s inflator, a metal cartridge loaded with propellant wafers, which in some cases has ignited with explosive force. If the inflator housing ruptures in a crash, metal shards from the airbag can be sprayed throughout the passenger cabin—a potentially disastrous outcome from a supposedly lifesaving device.

I’ve read several articles about the Kia TikTok challenge which shows how to steal some Kia/Hyundai cars with something as simple as a usb cable.
today on my local Nextdoor site, police are giving out locks to try to help prevent theft. Googling, Looks like Kia/Hyundai have handed our over 26,000 of these locks already to their owners! 8.3 million cars eligible for the update.
