Hyundai/Kia recalls and lawsuits

So your family bought Hyundai/Kia products in spite of the fact that you constantly pan them? Or did you break down and finally recommend them?
Either way......congratulations to them...IMO, credible purchases.

I think if I was concerned about reliability I'd go Toyota or Lexus and pass on the Hyundai/Kia's unless it was a budget $$$ thing.
However, if I wasn't concerned about reliability or budget, I'd go Euro~ MB, BMW, or Audi.
And, if I was concerned about budget, I'd go Chrysler or Ford.
Hmmm, so many options. lol

I think it the engine fires are a quality problem for Hyundai and Genesis. They can’t seem to get there manufacturing flaws and defects under control. Reliability I have always considered something along the likes of a car breaks down on you and leave you stranded or just doesn’t start. @Wilson2000

Hyundai Motor America is recalling 28,439 vehicles in the U.S. as a possible oil leak may increase the risk of an engine compartment fire, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Thursday.
The models being recalled are some 2018-2020 Genesis G80, 2017-2022 G90 and 2019-2022 G70 vehicles equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 turbocharged engine, the NHTSA said.
