If we didn't want a 3 row vehicle, I would absolutely put one of these in my garage. It would be perfect for our needs.

I have checked locally and there aren't any around.

I found some in California, like this one, but LOL they're asking over $55k after a "$5,000 price drop!". Crazy.

I don't personally know him, but I notice he does a lot of reviews in my neighborhood (Northern Virginia/D.C. suburbs). In fact, I often drive some of the same roads he's on.

Yes Sofyan lived in your neck of the woods. The reason why he bought the Prime was because he had split from his 'husband', and it seems he has moved to the southern PA/MD border area (I think its York, PA); The split meant that the other half took the Outback they had shared.

about to shift to the RAV4 Hybrid XSE, can be had for about $2750 off MSRP which I feel is a good deal for a high demand vehicle.

Solid choice. My folks have a 19 hybrid Limited and my sister a 20 hybrid limited. Good deals and really great gas mileage. They are all super happy with theirs.

The highlander and Rav4 have some really strong programs apparently. Congrats to your friend on the new purchase

Will have a RAV4 Prime in for evaluation this week. So let me know if there are any specific questions/pic requests you have!

Good stuff! I'd like to hear your thoughts on the general driving experience. Acceleration, ride quality, handling, steering feel, and NVH, specifically. I'd also like to hear your thoughts on interior build quality (and see a few pics as well). Thanks

honestly, I'd rather have the Prime than any Lexus...(ok, I'd take an LC but end up selling it).

My 2014 LX is comparable to the Prime as far as Fuel Efficiency, I get about 10 mpg in the City

I'm sure Lexus dealers are pissed that Toyota has both the Venza and now the RAV4 Prime while they make do with a 6 year old NX... gives me a glimmer of Lexus hope that they know that something good is in the pipeline for them. But still.... very odd to not feed the Lexus machine first.

i know you're just adding your comment for fun but...see, I don't care how pretty or plush a daily driven vehicle is - I just hate stopping to fill up with gas (and feeding big stupid oil), its not about which one cost less to fuel - I think people are f'ing nuts to gas up weekly...no matter if gas is .99 or $10 a gallon.

Now if its something like a Ferrari that's different...I wouldn't ever drive a Ferrari as a daily...just a weekender.

Toyota COULD drop the RAV4 Prime powertrain directly into at least 2 Lexus models...if not more...I could see NX, UX..probably ES and IS too
