Default Land Cruiser Discontinued in US

After the 2021MY, reported in multiple articles today.
Wonder if that will only be the LC and the LX will live on?

The LC is priced too close to the LX anyway. It doesn't make sense to offer both

No surprise, LX will live on.

That's fine. Now revive the FJ Cruiser to take its place.

I think the Landcruiser has been dead for years in the US. The Sequoia took some of those customers that would have bought the Cruiser. They are certainly not apples to apples, but the Sequoia is a popular family hauler. Will be nice to see what Toyota finally comes out with for the Sequoia and the same can be said for the LX. Both rigs ridiculously dated by today’s standards.

If only we could get a modern interpretation of the FJ70 series to replace it. The Land Cruiser 200 has been too huge for far too long. It could have used the turbodiesel engine option but that's all a moot point now.

Toyota is supposed to be doing something new with this model in the future but who knows at this point.

I thought there was another thread on this from a month or 2 ago? Or maybe it was just the minuscule US sales numbers?
