My situation with my CT200h is different as it can sit on EV mode while on and then only starts up automatically when it needs to charge, but in my old RX300 I would just leave it on if I needed to sit somewhere. One of my lasting issues with the RX300 and I got rid of it (sits in a junkyard somewhere in Miami
), was the fact that the battery, even a new one would go dead after 2 weeks and it was oddly enough an old lo-jack battery that had died and now the system was eating off the regular battery. I have to admit that my Optima Red Top was good for the years I had it, ironically in Mexico and a few years back in Florida.

Costco is great for a lot of things, but I never buy tires there because of the lines. And sure, they do road hazard and flat repairs for free like most good chains, but I don't want to stand in long lines and then wait a long time for a flat repair (do my own rotations). I have bought batteries at Costco in the past and they have been good with the full replacement warranty. Again, however, in San Jose, CA, all the Costco's are backed-up with long lines whenever they are open, and it's the same line for batteries and tires!
