There is a lot more wrong with the current Qx60 than the CVT. It does not feel premium at all, it is hopelessly dated, cheap, it's infotainment system is a joke, and its third row seat compromises the second row. One of the most uncomfortable rear seats on the market. I guess cheap lease rates are what makes it sell.

All of those things are because its so dated. When it was fresh it certainly felt premium, still does IMO with pretty good quality materials and nice leather. I never saw any issue with the rear seats, and like I said it has a great third row.

Did you misspell RX350L as the QX60?

I have no experience with the RX-L, so I can't comment, but I absolutely loathe the Qx60. It somehow qualifies as Uber Black, so whenever I order Uber Black when going to airports, I always cancel if I am matched to the Qx60, and repeat the request until I get something better.

I've driven and ridden in a bunch of QX60s, I know several people who have them, and I just totally don't get where you're coming from. Its not a Range Rover lol, but it compares very well to what its meant to compare to.

More like Nissan got rid of cost-cutting/penny-pinching Carlos Ghosn. Carlos Ghosn will be remembered as the business guru who saved Nissan from the brink of bankruptcy back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Carlos Ghosn will also be remembered as the tyrant who destroyed Nissan's legendary quality and reliability through his cutting corners/cost-cutting strategies.

Nissan had "legendary" reliability?

In the 90s, yes. Following the Renault merger, that went into the toilet.

It was new nearly a decade ago, and it's infotainment even in those days was terrible. Have you seen the new Infiniti models, the short lived Qx30 and the new Qx50? Still an utter joke that belongs in 2010.

I've only ridden in the rear seat of the Qx60 during uber trips, and the rear seat is absolutely horrible. Because of the way its made to allow for stowing and third row access, its is completely flat, made in three loosely joined segments, and its upright seating position is super uncomfortable. I've never driven on, but I'm sure the drivers seat is fine. Does it come without the third row option with a more comfortable rear seat?

Yep, for the money they charge, I'd much rather ride in a SuburYukonCalade that they often send, or a nice sedan. I even got a Tesla X once.
