An LC500 F-Sport would actually make a lot of sense, seeing as it's the only Lexus model that currently doesn't have an F-Sport designation.

It would also mean that there's no new engine under the hood. So much for those dreams of an LCF.

Former member from here is speculating on Youtube/IG between IS500, IS F, or a supercharged V-8 GX or LX. He is acting like he may know more than he's letting on.

Sounds like Lexus is hinting at an IS500 F-Sport.

It's actually good news for Lexus enthusiasts as an IS500 F-Sport will be more reasonably priced and hence more attainable than a full fledged ISF.

the last thing i want is a drop on my LC because it's already SO close to curbs and parking blocks.
Inspiration is all styling. Fsport should add more aero and stiffer suspension. Lexus needs to offer front lift kit - i have this on my 911, problem solved lol 😎

I can’t see them dropping the 5.0 V8 and calling it IS500 Fsport. If they throw in the V6tt from LS then it would make more sense.

Tbh, I'd prefer the TTV6 as the low end torque will make it a better daily driver and TT makes it more tunable.

This is modern day Lexus, y'all thinking too big. LC500 with wheels and suspension changes. Maybe a bodykit. Lol.

I do hope it's an IS with a V8 though.

that pic is not an LC500. it IS though, the V8 under an "f" cover on, likely an IS.

i don't think it's an "is500 f-sport" i think it's the full blown is-f they're bringing back.
edit: oops, talking about the wrong pic, DOH

...but the cover literally says "F-Sport?"

There are no teaser pics that even remotely indicate this being an IS, nevermind an F model. In fact, the speculation is because the teaser pic is the same cover as the recent Lexus V8's, which obviously the IS won't have, so these claims of the TTV6 are way off.

The LC500 is the only car that makes sense to have an F-Sport badge and a V8 cover.

IS F SPORT Teaser
Power train engine update to the F sport? Maybe a new engine debut?

Hopefully Lexus doesn’t use the ancient 5.0 V8 from the first gen ISF

I hope this is the new 4-doors IS F sedan. The last gen IS F sedan is pretty good. People didn't really like the RC-F.
