I want my boat money back to buy one of these to park and make a fortune off of in 10 or 20 years.

I like Savagegeese reviews, but why does he always have this depressing music and he always sounds too serious as if he's not describing a car but a genocide.

There are legit Car and Driver and Motor Trend reviews out, forget the amateurs. Read what the real pros are saying, and they're very good things by the way.

I often like the amateurs better than the pros.

I love everything about the IS500, except its infotainment. I would love to see a comparison with the GS-F and the RC-F, I absolutely loved these on my test drive, enjoyed them far more than even the LC.

Sounds like a great daily commuter. Not a track focused machine like the RCF...doesn't have an oil cooler and other track niceties but suspension is livable. The observed fuel economy was 15mpg . It would be worse if I owned it

Savagegeese is a Lexus and Honda fanboy.
He hates all German stuff lol

I don’t think he is serious - that’s just his personality.

The best parts of the review is when vehicles are on the lift and he points out the engineering/development of the cars. Nobody else does this.

Btw i much prefer him over a “professional” like Johnny Liebermann at MT who just makes unfunny jokes instead of an actual car review.

Lol, his reviews always put me to sleep. Boring as all hell, but he does have some good info and opinions sprinkled in (the undercarriage reviews)

Love the pricing too! I'm sure we won't see many of the under 60k cars but cool that it's offered. Mid 60k seems like the sweet spot which many guessed.

LC500 would be much better investment and the better car by far.

Besides the LFA - it’s probably the only other Lexus that may get displayed at Concours D’Elegance show one day.

you mean this one page review from car and driver? Tested: 2022 Lexus IS500 F Sport Performance Channels the Past (caranddriver.com)
talk about phoning it in.

this one's a bit longer but...
2022 Lexus IS500 F Sport First Test: An Excellent Ending (motortrend.com)

apple carplay / android auto make it mostly a non issue.

wow, surprised. even his new IS 500 review is very entertaining i would say. his tribute to the LFA video is AMAZING. yes, he does have a melancholy slant on much of his extra footage, but i love the different moods. he also injects some very dry and adult humor.

I predicted it was not going to be priced/start in the mid 60's. I think under 60K will be a key to its success, 56K is a attractive starting price and where I think the most demand will be.

SG was a little more negative about it then I thought, I thought the transmission would have been sorted out more but still for 56K to get that engine/power/experience is attractive and the vast majority who buy these cars aren't taking it to the track and will appreciate a smooth ride that does not beat them up on daily drives. I hope it is successful, I wish they would have offered something like that for the 4th Gen GS priced under 70K, just the V8 and not a bunch of track stuff.

Really? I'm not sure I agree here. I would put a C&D or MT or R&T print article against anything done by anyone else. I'd rather read anything from them rather than watch a video from Joe Blow. I'd rather read a review rather than watch, maybe I'm the 1%. Not that I don't watch stuff though.

Agree. I'm just so stunned by this IS500 making it into the lineup.
