Yup, options are good!

You cant go wrong with just black though. Having tried other interiors, I always come back to black. Wears well, doesnt get dingy, dont have to worry about dye transfer or anything, always looks sharp.

I have to second this. I have my 1st black interior, and all the "Oh it will get too hot inside", even with a black exterior, was totally over hyped. Sure, maybe in Phoenix. But here in the northeast, the interior of my black car doesn't get any hotter than any other car I've ever owned.

Typically I have always preferred all black interior but I really dig the black and red combo on my LC

Oh yeah, heat isnt a big factor.

You like the caramel or the blue/white/orange combo?

How much tint do you have on the windows? And do you use a sun-blocker in the windshield? That can make a least some difference.

I agree! My jeep interior was black and great. The g90 was white and i actually had to use leather cleaner on it every few months (yeah we all know i'm lazy when it comes to car cleaning). Both my new cars (LC and Santa Fe) have black interiors. Neither are blackest black though, slightly gray.

Here's the lc... excuse odd angle, my ppf guy wanted a pic of the cf sills he's going to protect.

Exactly same here. The other day my lc sat out in the sun for several hours. Got in, not hot at all.

i have a feeling newer cars may have better uv/heat blocking?

Rioja red is awesome, way better to me than the new bright bright circuit red.

No tint. No sunblocker. No window shade. Just nature.

Yeah, I kept hearing that about black interiors, too hot and miserable in the summers, probably true in the 60's and 70's with all black vinyl and weak/no AC's in some cars but I never found my black interior cars really bad in summers or much worse then tan/lighter interiors. A decent AC cools them down pretty quick as in any color. The one nice thing about black interiors/leather aside from less noticeable stains is if it is sitting outside and the sun is out even on really cold days you can get in the car and it will be pretty warm inside the car, that doesn't happen with light interiors.

I do like tan/caramel/brown leather though and kind of wanted it for my GS's but black was fine. I think grey leather looks terrible and not upscale.

I really like black interiors as well. Out of all of the Lexus I’ve had, only my LS430 has a black interior. I never found the interior to get any hotter than the other Lexus with tan interiors. I have Llumar 5% ceramic tint and a lightly tinted windshield to block out heat. It could be a newer car thing too. I’ve hooped in a few cars at our dealership that sat outside without it being unbearably hot.

I wish black interiors were more common on older Lexus. I hated the tan/brown combination in my GS, SC, and ES’ so much. I plan on selling the GS for a black interior car and will dye the brown parts in the SC black.

I was referring to the caramel, ... and I would like the blue/white without the orange
