Right, but it looks just as big as the S-Class one. It's not that's it's too big imo, it's as you say the placement that makes it look odd
It might be same size but it overpowers the front end and makes it look abnormal. The Sclass grill is not overbearing and in-line with how they have been in past generations. It is just a clean design.
Same goes for RollsRoyce or Bentley - huge grills but they are done right and just look like they belong.
The new Beaver BMW grills or Lexus ones have never looked right to me.
