Scotty talks about Tesla’s being green

By the way, did anyone know there is a new Fiat 500e, but its only on sale in Europe. I only found out today by googling the old 500e. There is virtually no information about it in the US. Had it been on sale in USA, with the right price, I would seriously consider it. And again, it makes no sense that Fiat Chrysler buys carbon credits from Tesla when they have their own EV that is getting great reviews. Who is strong arming them from keeping it out of USA, and even keeping information about it out of USA?

Not at all. I had a deposit placed on a Nissan Leaf back in 2013, but they couldnt get me one, I had a thread on here about this. However I do not like EVs being forced, I want to get one based on merit not on govt regulation.

114 miles of range? That's what 80 in the winter? Forget about a ski trip to the Poconos you can barely drive to the Gap one way without running out of juice. City bound puddle jumper.

Yep, I believe there is a huge market for a practical city EV as a second car. Perfect for daily errands.

Stellantis and Honda better get their act together. World is changing pretty quickly and they haven't reacted well.

It absolutely matters. Tesla’s profits come from their sales of credits. I think Toyota sells their credits as well.

Their BMS was junk. Passive cooling and doesn't even fast charge. The reason the car companies buy credits is because even if they build the cars, no one buys them. Compliance cars are available everywhere bit you don't see eGolfs and e500s anywhere. Honda built the Clarity but no one bought them. Without a high advertised range, consumers aren't willing to buy EVs. The ones that do have good range are selling out everywhere. Tesla sold out their entire quarter supply already and are taking orders for cars months ahead in advance. Mach Es are also being sold as fast as they make them.
