Used car prices rising?

Lexus Champion
a forum member reached out to buy my 2018 LX, I have 16k on it black on read every single option. I can't make up my mind to sell it or not. the prices are all over too, seems like KBB data is not what the cars are going for on dealers. Carvana/Vroom never got back with the offer. I want to get the new LX but not the first cycle, But getting some cash would be nice. I just dumped a bunch on money on home renovations.
I wouldn't want rid of an '18 with 16k especially that color scheme, unless you just want to make money on it and upgrade.

yea the last 2015 Lx I sold todays market I would easy get 22k more than I traded that car in for, LX prices are up there I called my service manager friend on a new LX at the dealer and if there is some discounts; they aren't moving much.
lx is an amazing car.

You can take an LX and stoutly demand a sky high price, and there will be buyers. I could sell mine for nearly 10k more than I paid in April (I got great deal, admittedly...but still). But I won't find another one in this good of shape and I love it too much as it is. I won't ever drive anything else but an LX. That old school isolation chamber, soothe-you Lexus lots of us miss is alive and well in the LX, at least my gen. Total isolation chamber.

Leased a Sentra three years ago and it’s almost up. Two months ago a homeless dude at a stoplight literally ran up my hood and over my roof. Car needs a new hood and roof fixed, estimate $1600. Nissan dealer is offering me a check for $1400, I don’t have to pay the last three payments or the $595 disposal fee. This is with the car all dented up. Cars gone tomorrow.
