Watched that Hoovie video, saw the Supra was stock. Hoovie should buy this Supra, then buy back his old F&F tribute Prius. Mod the Prius into a 10 second car and troll everybody at the drag strip/car shows lol.
Seriously though this is gonna sell for better than $100,000, which is stupid IMO, even given its provenance. Hoovie isn't the Barrett Jackson type, he ain't no fool in other words, so he'll never own this. As much as I love the Mark IV Supra, they're just too valuable now days to hack up/mod to hell. Go buy a USDM SC300 for peanuts, or spend 15,000 or so for a JDM twin turbo 1JZ-GTE Soarer if you want to build a 9 second car that traps 190mph lol
They have to be given credit, they managed to make a great looking legendary car look cheesy, corny and not very good looking. I am shocked the value of Supra's went up after that movie because they did almost everything possible to make it look ugly, the ugly paint, decals, wheels, etc.
This 1994 Toyota Supra should look familiar to fans of the film, as it was one of the Toyota Supras used to film the 2001 classic. The Supra also appeared in the film’s sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious. While it might have become famous on the silver screen, the orange ’94 Toyota Supra became a blockbuster at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas sale, going for $500,000.
