Just saw this on TV:
Should tires be assigned a shelf life, like groceries, milk or eggs? A safety research group says aging tires develop cracks or weaken when they sit around unused.

Pretty unlikely most tires will sit around for 5-6 years unused, which is about the time frame involved. Pass.
But, hey, let's get Congress involved over this "safety scandal" so that we can make sure Mr. & Mrs. Unsuspecting America won't risk their lives and those of their loved ones rolling around on rotten doughnuts that those unscrupulous tire manufacturers are just WAITING to pawn off on a gullible public. About 300 pages of new notifications, requirements, specifications, laws, and penalties should do it. Write your Congressman today before more innocents are slaughtered, sacrificied to the God of Profit!!!!!
