wish we could get Lexus LM

I own a 2018 Odyssey and it's okay. Van drives fine, but it has had a ton of recalls and my sliding doors still don't consistently auto close. They get about 3/4 of the way there, beep at me, then open back up even though there's nothing in the way. I don't regret the decision given the options at the time, but if I had to get a new van now it wouldn't be an Odyssey

It seems like 2022 Odyssey in US only get a refresh? In Asian's market it got a redesign along with the new Honda Jazz/Fit & Honda HRV...

we've decided we will go with the Sienna for the following reasons:

1. newer design, probably gonna remain the same styling-wise for another 8 years or so
2. although the hybrid motor not as refined as the oddyssy, but it serves its purpose, which is people/cargo mover that gets 36mpg, it's a minivan, you buy it not to have exuberating driving experience, but to make it do certain things
3. have owned 2 Lexus, a Camry and currently have a Highlander in our household, i trust Toyota brand more than Honda

question on the 8 seater Sienna, does the middle seat of the 2nd row removable? i sure hope so.

The issue for me is not driving exuberance, its whether it has enough power to get out of its own way when on a highway passing loaded down with people and stuff.

Nicely done! a Great Choice. I think the new Sienna is best all round minivan with sharp styling killer MPG and a tremendous reputation.

It has too many shortcomings IMO to be considered the best all around, lack of ability to remove or stow the middle row is a HUGE shortcoming to people who use their van to haul stuff.

Having tried them all (other than the new Carnival), I still think, unfortunately, that the Pacifica is the best all around design.

Not really. Its a huge drawback of the Sienna. They slide up against the first row, but that loses you a LOT of hauling capacity.

Here's a picture of the best you can do:

I'm seeing the new Sienna everywhere now. I think they are really good looking. The fuel mileage is seriously impressive.

The second row wouldn't be an issue for me, as we wouldn't use it for hauling anything but people, but I can see how it could be an issue for people who do use it for hauling.

Second row really isn't an issue for me either, but for lots of people it is

Well you test drove them and did all the research. What the heck do YOU know?? You should just trust Toyota loyalists instead--they truly know.

Exactly, especially the ones that have never sat in any minivan let alone driven them let alone multiple times back to back to back lol

I’ve never driven any of them but I saw one the other day in the sporty trim (whatever that model is) and just on styling alone the Sienna looks great. I used to only say that about the Pacifica but now I would say that about the Sienna.
