If you pay really close attention, you can tell. However, NuLuxe is great, and better than the leather's in many cars. So far so good in our '21 GX460.

The Nulux in our 2020 RX 350 F Sport has been great, still looks new. With that said, it was a noticeable difference from the real leather that came in our 2017 RX 350. The leather in that car wore really nicely for the real stuff. Not alot to show despite having a toddler in there for years throwing stuff around.

CT, two IS, NX, and now UX for ownership experience.

Love Nuluxe's leather-like feel and durability, especially creases barely exist vs leather.

I have both, and unless I was getting the high end optional leathers, I would go with NuLuxe.

Wow, I'm surprised at the consensus here. Next time I get a loaner I'm going to really check out the seats and the Nu-luxe. It's probably what was in the last few loaners and it looked and felt good.

I just love leather seats, always have since day 1.

I own a 2016 RC 300 awd f sport w/ new lux and their is no difference at all...the only difference is that the newlux takes waaaay longer to wear. My lux still looks brand new with no wrrinkles or crinkles.

buyers just don’t have a choice anymore. That’s why they are accepting it. LS500 has some of the best leather in the industry, shame to see faux being accepted. I have real leather in my new 4R, but doubtful the next gen will have real.

I have no problem with it, but on a $60,000+ GX I kind of do. So you get real, nice wood but imitation leather??

Maybe leather is a victim of its own success. I've probably never been in an interior with leather at the level of the LS, but almost any car comes with some kind of leather as an option. The leather I had from VW in a 'luxury' package was way worse than Nuluxe, no way to argue otherwise. It wasn't as soft, cracked and required maintenance, didn't breathe and if you left it in direct sunlight it felt like your skin was melting off when you got in.

I've always had window tint on my cars and my leather always stays nice, I guess I'm spoiled.

NuLuxe is definitely one of the better synthetics out there!

Leather can be fixed and reconditioned.

My wife has a 2018 Rx 350 ultra luxury with the upgraded semianiline leather. I have a 2016 LS-460L with the semianiline leather and I like both of them over the Nuluxe.
However, I must say I prefer the Nuluxe over the standard Lexus leather.

I have the light tan NuLuxe. It’s fine. I loved the saddle tan I had in my 2013 RX 350. It looked wonderful. The NuLuxe version of saddle tan/brown looks like cooked squash. It cheapens the interior. Bring back a real looking saddle tan, please!
