A rare complete miss inside out in the style department for me. The Kia and Hyundai versions look much better. Maybe it's the cor selection they're debuting it in, but for now pretty horrendous.
It's fine for what it is, but it would be a tough sell for this over the GV70 EV unless one really needs all that extra range.
I don't believe there's been any announcement of an electric GV70? And even if they do it will be crippled because it wouldn't be on a purpose built platform like this GV60/EV6/Ioniq5.

It was announced in some HMG release schedule a while back and spy shots have been out for months.
The GV60 has more potential as an EV, but in standard form the only thing it might do better is space and range. And even then I'm not sure about space because the wheelbase looks significantly shorter than the Ioniq 5/EV6.
This is the first newer Genesis model I've been unmoved by. Not feeling that exterior but the interior is nice.

Standard form? It's EV-only and is on the same platform as the Ioniq5/EV6. I doubt the wheelbase is any shorter.
I like it...I think its a good luxury alternative to the Hyundai and Kia. Also, it will be funny if they add the highest motor trim in the Genesis...it would blow the doors off the rest of the lineup

Standard form means the non-perfomance version, i.e. EV6 GT.
Wheelbase on the Ioniq 5 and EV6 are both different (118.1 vs 114.2 inches respectively) so the platform has nothing to do with the wheelbase length. The GV60 is positioned as a sub-compact CUV below the GV70, while the Ioniq 5 and EV6 are both midsize.

It's funny to me how the design is way more conservative than the Hyundai/Kia platform mates yet the marketing material has it with the most outrageous in your-face color combinations.

Yeah...maybe they thought it looked too conservative. I was thinking it would look great in a nice blue or red. Overall, if it has decent rear leg space and is comparable in price, range, and speed with the Model Y, I would consider it.

The GV70 is Model Y sized, so this is likely going to be smaller based on Motorola's insight.
I think the closest competitor to this will be the Audi Q4 E-tron, which is also smaller than the Model Y. It matches up with the GV60 in where it sits in the Audi's lineup based on name.
So far I'm liking the GV60 interior much more than the Q4's, which uses hard plastic on the upper door trim in the back.
