Infiniti Q60 Dead for 2023
At least according to Automotive News:
Not that surprised honestly given that coupes are probably the fastest-shrinking segment and the Q60 itself is very long in the tooth. Wonder how this bodes for the Q50.

That is a shame, I saw a pretty new one yesterday pulling out of a parking lot and admired it, it is a good looking car and has a available 400hp engine. If it had a nicer better integrated interior/dash design there would be little to complain about. It is a shame what has happened to Infiniti over the past 10 years or so, they seemed to really be on a roll with the G35, M45, FX for a couple years and then things got worse and worse in most areas.

A friend of mine picked up a 2018 Infiniti Q50 Luxe edition with only 30K on it for $25K in early 2020. The car was fully clean, no accidents, absolutely nothing wrong with it. I couldn't understand why it was cheap only being 2 years old with so few miles. He got bored of it and sold it already so I'm guessing that's why it sold so cheap

I actually find the coupe to be attractive, but seemed to be the only thing going for it.
I think the elephant in the room is that the Infiniti brand is not aspirational enough to attain many coupe sales since these vehicles are somewhat aspirational. Similarly, at a higher price point, the BMW M8 hardly sells because it is also not aspirational enough for the BMW brand and overall package of the car to demand for its price. Why buy the somewhat anonymous BMW for 120k when you can get a Porsche 911, Mercedes GT, (maybe) Aston Martin Vantage, etc. Same logic applies to the Q60 at a lower price point. Infiniti cannot justify its selling price for the Q60, why not get an MB, BMW, Lexus for the same price with more brand equity?
Its probably a good plan to sell a bunch of CUV's and stay afloat, until they get their act together for another attempt at aspirational vehicles down the line.

One of the problems with Nissan/Infiniti is they are so fricken heavy. I was in a Nissan Maxima rental for almost a month, and it had a lot of power but was so heavy. I've done light to light friendly races with both the G35 and G37 and walked them easily from a dig in my 2010 IS350

Always thought this car was a nice car. Test drove a coupe once, so cool. Loved the interior. I also thought the coupe was a far nicer looking styled coupe than what Lexus, MB, BMW, and Audi offered. Too bad it’s canceled
