common radar bands?

anybody happen to know what radar bands cops typically use while 1) stationary, watching cars go by and 2) when actually moving with traffic? from my understanding its usually K band for stationary, KA for moving, and X is the old band that was used but now is usually found in things like automatic doors for buildings? any help would be awesome, thanks
