The IS was just the same shifter with a metal ball as a shift **** vs a leather and wood ****. They were interchangeable actually

I have no problem with zigzag. I have it in both Lexus vehicles and like it fine. The shifter and materials are top notch quality.

It wouldn't matter how fast you could do it (if it wasn't zigzag) because you have to wait approximately one or two seconds for drive to engage from reverse (and vice versa) in an LS430, it's been discussed before. Rush it and you'll "bump" the transmission.
In there LS400 there was no wait, lol.

LOL. Do these people not know that you DON'T need to neutral drop to burn rubber on any RWD car that has decent power?

They are just having fun killing old cars before they go into the crushers. Most these cars probably have only a fraction of their initial power left.

Just something about destroying cars even if they're about to be crushed..... That LS400 would be a perfect first car for a kid or just Joe Blow who needs reliable transportation. It does look fun, though. Lol.
