Fair enough. While I agree that the new model won’t have a coupe, there are examples out there of brands doing stuff after the fact. I think if they made a coupe, it would compete well with the Toyota BRZ or the Subaru model version. Wiki says there will be a sedan as well as a 5 door lift back.

Thats cool. Never knew noticed that before.

Those taillights seem very inspired by the Mercedes CLA.

They could still do it, it is not like they are copying the Civics design and it will have to look exactly like a civic. They can do their own 2 door version if they want to with or without a 2 door civic.

I think the rear looks like G35 from the past...with that teardrop look which looks great. If they can make the car into a 4 door coupe style and looking good, with some performance from the 2L turbo in the accords, i think it will sell great. I'm hoping Acura delivers the good here.

It doesn't matter that it doesn't look like a Civic, it shares the Civic platform--this is why it will be available in a 4- and 5-door variant just like the Civic. Conversely, the 11th gen Civic platform will not have a 2-door variant. If Honda decided that sales volume did not support a 2-door version of its best-selling car and 2nd best-selling vehicle overall, there is zero chance that they will then turn around and invest in a niche Acura version of that same model that will sell in even lower numbers.

Though I don't believe it anymore. When the Civic Si coupe was dropped, I initially thought it may be in part to allow Acura to have an Integra Coupe so they don't overlap. But now I believe It's likely for the reason that coupes sell in fewer numbers.

Yay to the manual!

But the overall shape of that mule doesn't make me think Integra. It makes me think gen 2 ILX.

Even the 4th gen RSX Type-S went back to grey.

Very excited for a manual Integra! Thinking of this or the new Z as a fun weekend car next year.

Its just a luxury version of the Civic Si sedan which it has always been.
I think its a positive for Acura brand to offer manual again and play on their heritage.
