An Acura Civic SI with a liftback starting in the low $30K is not that bad considering the the Honda Civic SI already starts at $28K. Unfortunate that enthusiasts have to pay more for a manual and get less interior features these days.
More interested in the Type S which should be based on the Civic Type R.

I guess my point is, this isn't an Integra Type R, but alot of people on the internet seem dead set on comparing it only to the Integra Type R of 1999 and *****ing about it.
That makes no sense. Instead why not compare it to the LX model of the 4 door Integra, which is basically what this is a replacement for. In that light, this car is light years better in terms of what real people buying cars at this price point, in current environment care about.

Interior has been leaked. Almost a total carryover from the Civic. As in the same steering wheel, infotainment, HVAC controls and vents (hilariously hidden behind a tacked-on piece of plastic), and nearly the entire door.
Acura is just trolling its enthusiast base at this point.

Disappointed to see the carryover instead of using their own unique styling... I've sat in new Civic at the auto show and to be fair, it's actually quite nice at least for the price point. The Civic certainly has one of the best interiors in its class.
