Ah got it. Well that should be cleared up in just a few months then.

Where is the non-rumour, confirmation that the Lexus V8 development is cancelled?

I hope Lexus didn't cancel it as that was slated to go into the LC-F. I'd like to see Lexus bring out a performance V8 with turbos and an high performance EV version like Mercedes is doing. I think Mercedes will have a performance V8 option form most of this decade.

Everything is rumor right now. One indication though is that the LS500 has been downsized to the TT 3.5L V6 instead of moving to the 5.0L V8

Yep. It's definitely been refined a bit, but the changes are pretty much incremental

Where is the non-rumour, confirmation that the LC-F or LS-F is getting made? Where is the new V8 in the new Land Cruiser/LX/Tundra?

Oh but hey, you still have the IS500, a car using the same V8 from half a decade ago designed for and sold only in the North American market because literally every other country in the world would tax the oil out of it.

I'll take that tried and true sweet 5.0 NA V8 engine in the IS500 any day over any BMW M series, Audi, or AMG turbocharged variant any day of the week or year

Those with the same mindset have already bought a GS-F or RC-F.

Well the GSF is my next car. It's not about speed or how fast I can do the quarter mile, but about a precision built auto that runs as good as it did brand new 20 years later. If I want forced induction, I'll go to the aftermarket (RR Racing)

No where to be seen, that's why I didn't comment that they're coming 😛 nor did I say they aren't tho.

Oh, so just like the new Lexus V8.

If those vehicles don't exist, then the new Lexus V8 doesn't exist either. Sorry, you can't have one and not the other.

By the way, Lexus never announced a new TTV8 either, so by your reasoning they have no incentive to announce the cancellation of something that they never publicly unveiled.

I definitely think a LS-F with a V8tt is coming (Small batch stuff). Same engine maybe in the new LX

Good luck selling such a vehicle in any country that isn't 'Murica.

There was a rumor that Lexus was developing a 4.0L TT 660 HP V8 for this supposed LS-F, but the author also states that it "sounds too good to be true". Might have been on the drawing board at one time, but highly doubtful at this time. So I'll just leave it at that...
