really? you're never going to buy one at that price.

the number of people that pay over $100K for a new car today is tiny. obviously with inflation and even high end trucks costing that it's going up and people are now having car payments bigger than their mortgage payment, which is insanity.

IDK I can't get over how much I love this LX. There is zero point complaining about the V8 gone (as great as it was) bc I'll be whining into my grave.
yes, yes you would be.

This V6 had better be unbreakable. We'll see.
doesn't matter... it will be utterly obsolete in a few years.

I just priced one out a 2021 LX with sport package fully loaded and it came to $107k so a fully loaded 2022 Luxury version at $120k doesn’t seem too bad. If a similar 2022 F-Sport is around $112-114k the increase doesn’t seem too bad spec for spec. Now if pec for spec it does go to $120k that is too much of an increase to me.

I know, lol. Considering the 14 y/o one is about 105k, 120k isn't that big of an increase to me.

There are so many 100k cars, or near 100k cars around here it makes you dizzy. Knoxville is a nice city but it's not exactly West LA. I agree a car payment bigger than mortgage is pure insanity lol. I see all the new LXs and imagine the car payment is well into 4 figures....no thanks lol.

V8 is dead. I own a vehicle with the 5.7, I'm happy. Once we pick up a 300 in a few years it will be fun to see which powertrain overall I think is better after a year or two of ownership. Probably will be the V8 just for sounds and feel.

The 3.4 ttV6 just now going into all new Toyota trucks will not be obsolete in a few years. Not by a long shot.

saw one with east coast plates driving around my neighborhood recently. interesting the rear doesn't have the typical L badge but LEXUS in big block letters across the center - almost reminded me of a land rover. definitely a head turner but will likely blend right in around these parts with many other big luxury SUVs that abound.

I am definitely interested in test driving one of these. Long overdue!!!!!

With the chip shortage and other supply constraints, I wonder when dealers will actually have these in stock to test drive. I’d imagine all will be pre-sold and test drives off limits, except for the actual customer that ordered the vehicle.

^^^ love those back lights.

while a full size spare is nice, looks like it's really low on there though.

$127,000 UL top of line sounds like quite a juicy LX.

besides the acura-esque (bad) dual screen infotainment stack and gigantic grill, i think this is a really solid upgrade.

power fold flat 3rd row is a solid improvement, and i'm sure the chassis and drivetrain are overall better.
