I doubt it'll be much different since it's still BOF, but I don't think driving dynamics matters much to most Lexus buyers. They will see the pricetag of the LS and LX being nearly the same and pick the bigger vehicle with seemingly more room and utility, that also has slightly better tech.

Everyone cried about the old 5.7 having an old engine, the new 3.5TT is a car engine...not even a truck engine, the performance went 0-60 went from 7.3 seconds to 6.9 seconds (Lexus certified with 91 Octane). Despite being a 300 lbs lighter. 64 cubic feet of cargo space unless you are the absolute base model. Tows less than the 2008-2021 Land Cruiser V8

I agree. I wonder if they still have lights. My 4Runner has lights at the front and rear of the running boards on each...they light up and dim

Didn't notice. Will have to look

This LX should have retractable running boards, if anyone can make that last 10 years trouble free it’s Lexus..
100% agree. Toyota 4Runner has/had retractable running boards for 2019-2022

Yes they did, they complained the engine old, was ancient blah blah.

Been gone from the forum for a while but glad to stumble on this thread - as a 2010 LX owner, I am thrilled to finally see a flat folding 3rd row. The jump seats are my only legit complaint I've had since owning our LX. I've been looking at new Tahoe's, Escalades, and Navigators the last couple of months. This gives me hope that I am going to stay in the Lexus family.

One thing I am surprised is that Lexus is not offering the new Hybrid motor from the tundra in the new LX. Maybe it is just a supply issue and next year we may see LX 750h or something like that.

This surprises me too but I highly suspect they'll add it in a year or so.

most likely it will be out in the next cycle. That would be a big plus atleast for me to upgrade.

I said I was going to keep tabs.

I drove to a dock today about 4 miles away, back roads but heavy traffic. 3 roads total.

Saw a black 2016+LC and a black LX just like mine.

That’s 2.

Edit: Waiting on spouse to come outside for 10 mins and a white LX570 just like mine drove by my house.

So there’s 3. They may not sell much total but there are tons around here.

It’s extremely rare I see a LC around me, I see many more LX’s but even those are somewhat rare and most of the ones I see are the same ones. I still like the look of the previous gen better and stare at those a little more when I see them. I have a feeling I will like this new one better though and can’t wait to see it in person.

Lol, I counted three 100 series today as well. Some are astonishingly clean, some beat up a bit.

The issue is the LX is not a replacement for a sedan. Someone who likes the way a comfy sedan drives isn't going to be happy with an LX. Now a unibody crossover, sure.

Nice SUV but I'm disappointed there are only 7 exterior colors to choose from in LX and LX F-Sport Handling guises

Eminent White Pearl
Atomic Silver
Nori Green Pearl
Caviar
Manganese Luster
Ultra White
Black Onyx

But Atomic Silver is all one could ever need.

F-Sport with red interior.

I was fine with the regular grille but this one gives me bad flashbacks to the Avalon...

Agreed, even though I love the LX, the ride of the LS460 I used to have was unbeatable. I too need to pick a S class like you.
