Apparently, Lexus mad3 changes to the cylinder heads when the LS got refreshed to get rid of the harshness. Maybe just in time for the new LX?

LX engine and the Tundra are not identical to the LS...some things have been changed.

I just watched that comparison today. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to compare these two vehicles, especially a 3 row vs 2 row SUV. I was mainly focused on the LX part of the review and I was a little disappointed in what the reviewer had to say but as always I would have to test drive one myself to really see how it drives.

The LX does have a third row, just not in the Ultra Lux version in that video.

I get that but I mean in this video. They compared luggage space with the third row up in the Wagoneer vs the LX with no third row. Not apples to apples although they eventually did compare the luggage space with the third row down.

So less identical, but still mostly identical then?

saw the new LX600 up close for the first time. Much much better in person. This really is not a Cadillac Escalade or Navigator competitor. It’s nowhere near a Range Rover competitor either. For the most part, it really is for body on frame Toyota or Lexus fans. If you are a fan of previous Toyota/Lexus body on frame SUVs from Japan, then you’ll appreciate the LX as it will feel right at home and. very familiar.

They should have compared the LX570. Not a super old Lexus. But those guys are good reviewers have a sense of humor.

Had some free time this morning just on time when they had a demo to try out. I must say.... all the excitement went South. Turbo 6 does move and it doesn't feel as heavy. Apparently a lot are waiting for this car, but I can't see how I would be willing to pay this much for this thing.
