at the rate you buy cars, i don't think it's making a big difference to toyota/lexus either way.
that was quoted to me but I believe Jill said that

then perhaps you haven't had a car for a business. leasing makes a lot of sense. and of course many people have no interest in keeping a vehicle a long time, so leasing is less money up front, move onto something else in a few years.
I think she means why one would lease a Toyota or Lexus when you miss their main benefit (longevity). I came to the same conclusion which is why I stopped, and leased something more interesting but not as long lasting.

This is exactly what I was referring to.

I didn't say or mean buy the car for life. I meant to say a "buyer" of the brand for life.

There's definitely a discrepancy between what we believe is reasonable as enthusiasts versus actual numbers, where Lexus is more leased than Benz and equal to BMW.

I agree. Variety is great. I love spicy food. Not sure if I’d replace my older Marirx with a new Toyota. I might try something else

One of our favourites is spicy Korean BBQ

Finally got to check one of these out. White leather.

Verrrrry comfortable seats like LS430 comfortable. It had a top notch high end Lexus interior but yes this is hardly class leading, they could have done more. SW is right about exposed cupholders.

Feels nice inside but not quite as spacious as the 200, noticeable. I think that has more to do with the layout of the stuff not actual room.

I know I can do a quick Google search on this, but what engine are they now using? Nice interior

3.4tt 409/479.

New motor has been praised for the most part which is good. My Lexus guy was like “oh it’ll get up and go”. I was like “oh sure but it won’t rumble and snort at you like that old 5.7.” He agreed, definitely not.

It's a V6, that's all that counts. 3.0 tt and up are good engines. Thank God no 4 banger, TT or not

The mere thought of a 4-cylinder pushing around a 3-ton truck--let alone one with a six-figure price tag--is completely hilarious to me.

Mercedes-Benz has a 4 cylinder in the G-Wagon. Just awful

The outgoing last generation S-Class had a 4 cylinder as well well lol. In Asian markets. Pathetically awful.

Back to LX600 At least it has a proper full time 4WD system.

Did you check out the back lift gate?
