Totalled GS400 on Monster Garage
Jesse wanted to build a handicap access Merecedes SUV. Access ramp in the back and hand controls. Threw some 22's on it. Little bling for me but that is what flies on TV.
The guy he took it to to test drive had totalled his GS400 at 137mph. Looked like it had some Lowenharts and exhaust done. He was in a coma for a while. When he woke up he was paralyzed from the chest down. Very sad.
Anyway, Jesse told the guy to take it for a ride and check it out. He looked like he was in heaven. When he brought it back Jesse told him if he liked it he could keep it! His jaw hit the floor. His mom started crying. Pretty touching stuff.

Which one's your favorite episode?
Mine's where they do wheelie (spelling?) with an embulance.

I think it's an IS300, not a GS400.
This episode was by far my favorite. Most of the guys working on the MB were handicapped as well. They had skillz.

I didn't get to see the Handicap-accessible ML yet, but my fav from the ones i've seen is definetely the Porsche golf-ball picker!!! I went to the driving range a week ago and could not stop busting up the whole time thinking bout it!

I saw that episode also. I saw GS400 on the back when they panned the camera. Also looked like the car was real nice at one time.
I totally understand giving that nice MB to someone that was paralyzed and in a wheel chair. It was a very touching story to me as well.
Made me think real hard about the whole thing since his name was Sean, it really hit home. My name is Sean and I have almost the same car he had.
The only thing I don't quite understand after I thought about it some more was the fact that they gave this Monster MB to a kid that totaled his car at 137mph!!!!!???!!!
I mean, maybe I don't know the WHOLE story and YES it is very sad what happened but for some reason I just felt like there is maybe someone out there that got hit by a drunk driver or was in a wheel chair because of someone like this guy hitting THEM at 137mph. I felt sick to my stomach with them giving some kid that was driving 2X the speed limit a nice car like that. I wouldn't doubt it if there was also alcohol involved also. Either way, he was either racing someone else, driving under the influence, just plain driving fast for the hell of it or all of the above.
Am I wrong? Does anyone see what I mean?
I don't get it

That's what I thought. Why would you give the MB to this guy? He already wrecked his Lex because of the way he drove it... why would you give him this MB.. even worse, they put NOS in it! Didn't make much sense to me.. although it was really cool that he gave it away like that.
