I can't wait to see it either, I have owned both gen GX's but never really loved the 2nd gen like I loved the first gen. I think I could be a potential future buyer.

It's exactly as they described back in 2021. I trust it will be revealed at the Headquarters Confidential by June 1st and so will 2024 TX.
My question is, will hybrid GX 550h be offered here in North America? It's likely going to be an Asia-focused special, unless an eleventh hour trademark is filed for GX 550h in the USA.
Side note: As usual, a lot copycat accusations from randoms, but from what I recall, this has been in planning since about 2016-17 and the final GX design was ready in 2020, before first being shown to "other" TMNA staff and then later Lexuscdealers for the first time on February 10 or 11th, 2021.
Absolutely nothing revealed after 2020 could be copied by Lexus, but leave it to the peanut gallery to judge them.

GM copies Toyota trucks, based on Tacoma design language going back decades, yet after they migrate it to the Tundra and then next Tacoma, all you hear about is how Toyota copied GM or Nissan or whomever. A lot of empty vessels, who just think their opinion on these things...

Thanks. I'm very keen to see the differences between them. And even if there's no diesel in GX, Toyota would be insane not to put at least the 1GD 2.8TD in Prado given the markets in which it's sold.
(Is there a way to get in touch with you privately about some info? I can't seem to be able to PM you.)

The hood does not flow smoothly to the A pillars. There is a black thing between the A pillar and the edge of the hood. This thing is VERY boxy - it’s going for the Defender look.

Thank you for that info. They did it for 2021 and 2022, I'm guessing because of COVID, so it now looks like they've changed course for 2023.

Rented a Defender for 3 days and for the pricepoint the ride, interior and most importantly turbo lag where not up to par; plus the gear shift requires some learning to do it quickly, such as for a 3 point U-turn. Ultimately, rather have a Cayenne with air or a Velar over a Defender
So here's to hoping IF a turbo engine is a thing, there is not major lag

Thanks.
Might it be June 8th for USA instead? Just curious, due to time zone differences from Europe. Only seen June 9 from Lexus Europe. Lexus USA can sometimes treat their American customers like children in my opinion, by omitting key details.
