Ohhhh I absolutely lovvvvve it. We’ll probably buy one in 5-6 years, that is if it’s not standard with hybrid crap.

Looks like an LX450, in a good way. Interior looks neater than current LX.

Oh yea, this is very cool! The aftermarket potential for this is very high. All the overlanding/off-road options that can be thrown at this?!? OMG, yes!

The silver one in the video seemed to have a different trim. Can't wait to see the rest.

the gold (off road) version might not have a moonroof ? I was trying to slow down the video to see the top of it early in the viewing when it did the quick right turn and leaned a little left to view the top section.

I think it's because it looks rather narrow, especially with the very tall windows, which in a way makes sense for its off-road image. But not classically attractive.

To be honest, I don't find this design a massive departure from the design language in Toyota's recent trucks like the Tundra or Sequoia, but I am very glad to see that it's not just a mini LX like so many other brands would do. Will have to wait for better media before commenting more.

Narrow but with properly flared fenders. Gives it a very lean yet muscular look and stance. Love it so much.

Just as I envisioned it, finally. 2 off the list, 2 more GA-F (USA) reveals to go through next spring. For the longest time a few of us have been hyping this new GX up, because we knew it was that special and couldn't believe what we heard in 2021. Finally it's here and all the BS pessimism can end for once. Lexus was not going to renew the GX for another cycle, unless something of landmark move could be made that would resonate strongly with the buying public. Carrying over the same design theme going back to 2002, would have been fine maybe for current owners, but the amount of conquest buyers I've known they will gain with this big change, will be through the roof and take years to satisfy demand.

This is how you do a redesign into the modern and honor your corporate heritage at the same time. Great thing is, there's even more to come on the Toyota front and LX 700h hopefully will represent the best of the TTV6 MAX.

@TexasFunRunner Thanks a billion, really appreciate your contributions to this thread!

Isn't hybrid also ICE? To your point, we've all said this a few times within this thread and explained the Lexus naming process ruling out hybrids for non "h" models, but only so many times...(there's nothing to be worried about, except no NA engines).

one interesting design detail is the middle of the hood is sunken vs, the fenders.
while all these types of vehicles are too high on the sides imo, at least this gives better forward visibility through the hood 'tunnel'.
