Yeah, he's full of poop lol.

I went to the DC Car show today, and while they didnt have the Sequoia obviously they did have several Tundras. I LOVE it, no doubt my favorite fullsized truck. The Domestic trucks just seemed plain and dated and so much more expensive. My business partner who has the Ram was with me and he agreed, was blown away by the Tundra. The Sequoia is going to be great.

I'm assuming a loaded one of these will touch 75 or 80 grand.

On a "cheap" model, ok, but no "set and forget" auto 4WD is pretty much inexcusable in pretty much anything but the base. It's a ludicrous omission on the Capstone model.

I have to agree with AJT. This is not the 1970s any more. People don't just buy pickups to slog off-road or to work on ranches any more. They are essentially used as more-versatile passenger-cars. No excuse for part-time 4WD only.

I agree there is no excuse for the part time 4WD only. But seriously, the product is really nice.

youre not going to get the deals on a tundra even normal time. Toyotas were always way more expensive out the door. A Platinum 4x4 almost costs as much as my Limited's MSRP (which i paid no where near). The Capstone isnt even configurable yet and its going to be even more expensive

Yes, on road at least. In the sense that the driver doesn’t have to fuss with anything nor worry about slipping.

I had the same reaction after seeing the new Tundra in person it does looks spectacular. The new Sequoia I feel will look even nicer.

Good video. I am not sure if it is very encouraging to know that Toyota USA had to plead their case with Toyota Japan to make the new model. Does not sound like they are off to a great start. IMO

I'm not sure I believe that. They sell. Glad they made it regardless.

I dunno, its hard to look at a $55,000 1794 Tundra and then sit in a $68,000 F150 Lariat that doesn't feel anywhere near as nice and not feel like the Tundra is a value. Even the RAMs feel old in comparison...

Size and solid axle are gonna hold it back. Rear seat room is already smaller. I think it will be like 10K a year, and decrease after that.
