That photo does make the rear look a bit shorter, but the current/outgoing model doesn't have that long of a back end either. I've always thought this gen looked a little stubby.

Is Lexus finally bringing the fight to the Escalade and Navigators of the world? Wouldnt that be something? Then again, where would the LX stand?

The tail lights on the teaser is almost at the wheel arches. Maybe this is the new 4Runner and not Sequoia? Could all those references to trees and stuff just be Toyota trolling? I mean when you go overlanding or offroading, you will see trees so it doesnt necessarily mean a Sequoia?

No way. The trees give it away. Sequoia

Created a thread for this here several months ago, program code and everything. Now enters production in Q3 2022, July to be specific.

Production should begin in July, according to manufacturing timelines.

Definitely Sequoia.

looks like they'll trickle out 3 more teasers before the reveal next Tuesday.

Hope it keeps the retractable rear window!

I’m probably more excited to see the Sequoia than the Lexus LX600.

Fingers crossed 🤞.

same here, likely due to the fact that likely i can only barely afford it over the LX . i do own a 1st gen sequoia and love it!

I hope the interior materials are a little better than current generation. Excited to see what they have to offer and different trim levels. Pricing will be substantially lower than the LX. I always thought the Sequoia was a nice SUV, but way long in the tooth.

I think Toyota's teaser marketing is a little weak. They should just release it with out warning and there likely be a warmer reception

I see Toyota went with a more cost effective route by just using simply glue on lettering or the SEQUOIA wording instead of the unique place card in chrome or all black for the rear hatch.

Same here! Only cuz i already own a gx and the LX is too expensive. The sequoia would meet my space needs. This will sell like hotcakes on steroids if it is priced right. I.e. the volume model tops out at 50k.

The current base price is already over $50K. And the Highlander already crests $50K in its top form. So don't see that $50K for a "topped out" volume model would be "priced right"
