New Toy: Porsche 911 GT2 RS

Must be nice to have a toy like this! Congrats!
I was behind this runner. His frame says "My other car is an E93." He must have had some good fun memories.

Finally got a chance to do some canyon runs with friends, some other monsters in the play
Able to push the car a little. I am sure it's still far from the limit. The car is, as I mentioned before, crazy fast. It seems to have unlimited power and it will just keep pulling. The car feels really light and it feels easier to control than I thought. The rear doesn't feel as heavy but at the same time doesn't feel as loose as my old NSX. The tires have a lot of grip and on tight turns they performed really well.
PDK is simply amazing, it's so fast and precise, what a brilliant design. In PDK sport it actually upshifts and downshifts according to your driving and braking, very smart. However for better control putting it in manual is still the way to go. I was in 2nd and 3rd most of the time, instant power yet it feels pretty linear.
The buckets in these Porsche GT cars are really not that good to be honest. It's way too upright, even people on Porsche forums say so. My friend who drove the 992 GT3 also commented the same. I can see why a lot of people put in little bracket to recline the seats a little, even for those who track their machines.
PCCB grabs really well -- once they warm up. When they are cold they are a test on your bravery but when they are in operating condition they are brilliant (minus the squeak).
funny to think that this is my first sports car with turbo. It does feel quite different from all the NA cars i have had before. The 992 GT3 sounds WAAAAAY nicer in the tunnel. my car was loud but 7000rpm means i was hitting rev limiter in no time

i'd say you got the best of both worlds going on here... you get the performance and shifting of the porsche, while getting to look at and hear the LFA! awesome group of cars here

Fun group for sure! Agree on your PDK and Bucket comments also. As for the sound in the tunnel, it does make a case for an NA engine. Although I think the extra 200+/- ponies you have will allow you to get over that quickly
