I was just kidding based on the Grand Cherokee thread about it not having brake hold. However it really is impressive for a cheaper car to have brake hold. Also nice like you pointed out you can turn off auto start stop.

The Japan brands are pretty good and getting many things standard at some point. I knew you were kidding about the brake hold and how it was referenced to the Jeep. . I think there are some cars out there with non defeating auto start

is your accord turbo though? my santa fe 2.5T engine is not slow.

I don't imagine this will be anywhere near that slow, but I'd bet my LS is as fast or faster. Its also far more comfortable.
comparing an LS460 to a honda civic si is, ok, ludicrous.

you can with most all cars with the feature, but i expect that button in the civic only lets you turn it off until you stop the car (engine off). starting it again, i bet auto start/stop is on again. that's the norm these days.

i'm glad my LC500 doesn't have auto start/stop at all.

Addresses most of the things I didn't like with my 2017 Civic Si. I don't mind that the power stays at 200, extra space under the torque curve should help quite a bit. Hopefully this also keeps the price below $30K.

I'm guessing they're keeping power as is is to give Integra some space.

Less power (e.g. 200 hp) and more weight (e.g. +63 lbs) will not bode well for the new Civic Si.

no. 2.4L NA, earthdreams L4, its gutless AND inefficient. I wouldnt mind it being gutless if it got better than 30mpg. Had i known the V6 does the same MPG i would have sprung for it.

What a fail on the engine. They should have got the turbo Accord Motor. So sad - they should have it given it at least 230Hp.
