Other than the grille it's pretty bland on the outside, just like the regular A8. Love the wheels though.

Looks like a Phaeton with a big grille.

Horch? There first problem was the name. I dont know what its supposed to sound like in German, but I have a feeling it won't be elegant.

I like the regular wheel base A8. To my eye it's understated and attractive. This long wheelbase is too stretched out looking. The wheels and that color don't do it any favors either.

One can see at a glance why it is for the Chinese market.....the sumptuous back-seating area. Executive-car-owners in China like to be chauffeured around.

Having said that, except for the humpback-whale roofline and the somewhat too-large grille, I like the simple, unassuming, and basic way that Audi styles their sedans. Some call it too conservative....I say just about right.

Here's some rear-view shots, BTW, that weren't posted on the OP.

I like a conservative car too, but the A8 is a little too nondescript for its class. The refresh front looks better for sure.

Even with its size, the A8 still is easily confused for an A6 or an A4 or even a Passat. Not what you want in a six figure car.

I added some rear shots on an edit.....maybe while you were posting. I don't know if you saw them.
