What's funny about a supercharged Buick? If you didn't think they existed, then I could see how you might think it was funny (kind of like when people put Type S, Type R, AMG, or BMW M badges on their base model cars - see below).
Its just funny that there was a “Supercharged Buick Park Avenue”. But I get that you don’t find it amusing. T
Type R and S and AMG etc are just marketing….not lame…not funny….maybe meh! AMG actually used to mean something...but Mercedes watered it down

There was also a supercharged Grand Prix. And Regal I think I didn't know Olds 88 and 98 were offered with a supercharged version of the 3800

I was just commenting that it's funny when people put badges on their car to "dress it up", like putting a Type R badge on a Fiat. I thought that maybe you saw the Supercharged badge on the Buick and thought the same thing, that someone was "dressing up" their Buick.
When you posted the pics, you called it a "factory supercharged Buick". There was no mention of the name of the model until I replied, at which point you seem to pivot towards the name being the funny part. I get it if you think the name is funny, but I still don't understand why you think "a factory supercharged Buick" is funny, as you originally posted. Anyway, that's enough car chat for today. lol
