Just because you don't like something doesn't mean that its "completely disgusting to most people". If you don't want to smoke cigars don't, if you don't like leather don't buy it...but don't insult people who do like those things by saying "most people think they are disgusting". You think they're disgusting.
ok. i think you said the g90 material is real leather, but it didn't seem like it to me. either way, i don't really care. 
i don't like animals being slaughtered so can have my car slathered in their hide if there's good alternatives. but hey, i'm not some vegan type... i'm wearing a leather belt, and leather shoes right now because i don't find the alternatives great, although as far as shoes i wear sneakers most of the time.
leather interiors are just another 'old world' hold over and another 'badge' of 'superiority'. it used to be wood in cars as well but most of that has gone away too. it used to be chrome too, and that's fading.
This is the all new W223 S Class. No wood in there for sure.
Sporty cars and mainstream cars dont have wood, and thats not new.
times change....

I think the direction with no wood or as minimal as possible is what really is in style in the modern era

Nice interior. I like the design for the most part. That was a good ad. I don’t really like the rear end, does not look that great. The front end is OK. Still can’t decide if I like the mid part or how it rises near the rear seats, for the exterior that is. Really should have aV8

Interestingly, the reviewer here claims that the seating position and suspension is set up more like the 7 Series than the S-Class. No doubt a byproduct of Albert Biermann's influence.

^^^ that one is very thorough, especially on handling and driving comfort. 
loving that it now has chauffer ride mode

I personally like most of the new offerings from Hyundai (and even KIA) and the G90 looks very futuristic.
