Review from Kirk Kreifels, unofficial YouTube Lexus spokesperson lol. He's driven the LS500 on numerous occasions from back when he worked at the dealerships, and he did not mince his words on how it compares to the G90 (@19:00).
I liked the pre refresh better. This looks a tad goofy to me. I'm sure it's a great car though.
G90 like other Geneses are mechanically superb!
Though they do have a penchant for being oversized, hence overweight with higher fuel consumption, and compromized dynamics to favor space, comfort, quietness and luxury.
Theoretically, such a package should sell well with consumers.
However, in practise, sales of G90 will probably be a flop again?
My guess?
Back to that "subjective" styling.
Genesis needs European contemporary styling like their old midsize Hyundai Genesis/Genesis G80 which cracked a solid 33,000+/year in its first full year.
Genesis must address this issue to overtake Lexus to sell like hot cakes.
Still needs a V8. Still stuck on value. Still a Hyundai
still banging the same old negative drums.
still finding the worst possible pics. i think the second pic is a rendering of a long wheelbase one which i'm not sure is sold in the u.s.
how about this?

I mean.....it's the LS500. It made a lot of people abandon the brand
Kirk didn't "abandon the brand"- he's still the most vocal Toyota/Lexus supporter on YouTube second perhaps only to Scotty Kilmer. And he doesn't hate the LS500 either, the G90 is just that much better.

You continue to repeat this misinformation time and again in every Genesis thread without any evidence. They don't have an established dealership network like Lexus, so they can't sell at volume like Lexus. It's strange how you continue to only apply this double standard to Hyundai, but will excuse flops like the BZ4X for "low supply" lol.

Oh please, you hated it back when it had a V8 too. The part in bold is what really matters to you, and I'm glad you finally admitted it.
that is a wonderful shot of a great looking car!!!
love the short front overhang. not a big fan of bling but the curving upward low chrome strip from very front to very back is a really nice piece of design.
