Hmmmm.... Trollish post.... This 644hp 4.4L V8 ​​​hybrid combo is weak sauce compared to the 670hp 2.0L I4 hybrid combo in the Mercedes C63. Garbage!

 

Why didn't they just make this fully electric? It's already hilariously heavy and BMW clearly knows how to make good electric cars given how well the IX has been reviewed. Would have cut complexity down a ton as well.

 

Its the 50yr Anniversary of M so this is how BMW decided to honor the storied brand lol Therefore pure EV would not have worked.

All the ppl running BMW now should be fired. I feel sorry for the engineers there. The Brand has completely lost their way and now customer base are going to Tesla, Porsche, and Audi.

Besides the horrendous design language, the ethos of what made BMW a special brand is completely gone at this point. Even the ///M brand now is completely diluted so what are they left with to peddle now to get sales.

 

Meh, this car is just a continuation of BMW's prioritization of the Chinese market. It will sell well there and more narrowly in other markets to those who just need something over the top.

I said in another forum, Sao Paulo Yellow is just the cherry on top for how awful and gaudy the XM is... rappers and influencers are going to love it. And also that black strip under the beltline looks so stupid and tacked on.. what is it supposed to uh represent?

Why stop there, they could've done so much more with this.

 

the only 'good' combo would be a matte black version viewed inside a closed warehouse with all the lights turned off while wearing a blindfold.

 

Now imagine those black stripes and grille edges in gold like the regular version...

 

LOL! This angle and color makes it look like they are trying to compete with the Urus. Otherwise, meh, not a good look for this ride.

 

This is right out of a game like Deus Ex or Cyberpunk 2077
