I try and avoid it as much as I can, but sometimes I have no choice, its the difference between eating and not eating.

Yep, water only. The only exception that is made are road trips over 500 miles to cut down on time on road.

LOL I feel like I'm in good company here. I get made fun of by my family about this and they know not to eat in the car when I am in the car. When I'm not in the car all bets are off and its like an all you can eat buffet with my kids with crumbs everywhere and little sticky spots in the back cupholders. It's almost as if they are doing it on purpose.

When we got the LX I was sure to tell my sister with two kids (6 and 3) that I have a vehicle big enough for 8 so we can all take a vacation together.

I'm secretly hoping she doesn't take me up on it, lol. The kids will destroy it. I don't want my truck used as the transport with all the food and gas station junk. We all just got back from a family get together and we all drove, so no biggie. How American, gas so high yet we still all drove not one person carpooled.

Eating is fine. It’s the drinking of soft drinks and juice that when spilled into the perforated leather seats that’s going to be an issue.

Plus going to the beach and all that sunscreen rubbing off on the panels or seat that permanently stains.

As said in the other thread.....I'm really getting tired of agreeing so much lol!

I was visiting with a friend on campus and we decided to pickup a pizza instead of delivery so we wouldn't have to wait (we stopped back at his place mid day to collate some vehicle options we looked at) for them to deliver. I had him put it in the trunk so it didn't linger for the next 3 days.

Probably not as big of an issue with your S-class given the nice auto-scent system though.

I forgot about the sunscreen. I don’t notice it getting on the seat but on the door panels it’s a pain to get all of it off.

need to be very careful with sunscreen on seats or panels. once they are on there for a while and especially under heat, they eat into the materials.

it will get trashed. Honestly lx is not as roomy inside and kids move alot on king trips. I have a big cargo box for long trips it helps. I just gor back from a 2500 mile round trip 3 kids took me about 4 hrs to clean probably..

i do love my wooden steering wheel segments lol

if i had a 'complaint' it's that when you're trying to let the wheel slide through your hands to straighten out the wood and leather bits have varying degrees of slidy-ness... but once you know to be ready it's something that can easily be adjusted to
